Dear Friends and Family

Words cannot truly express the gratitude we feel for each and every one of you, for your kind words, thoughts, acts of kindness, offers of help, hugs, prayers, and support since Dad went into hospital on 11th January 2026, through to his passing on 4th February, and finally to his committal on Friday 13th March.

This has been, without doubt, the hardest journey our family has ever had to face, and we are deeply thankful for the love and support you have shown us throughout this time.

It meant so much to see so many of you at the church to share in our final memories of Dad, and later at the celebration of his life. What has been such a difficult journey was made a little easier by the comfort, kindness, and presence of all of you. Please know that every gesture, no matter how small, has been truly appreciated.

Dad is now safe and at peace in his new resting place, and we give thanks to God for watching over him. We celebrated his life in true Dad style with a drink in hand, great music playing, and the love and laughter in the room reminding us all of his warmth, his spirit, and his wonderful ability to bring people together.

Thank you for being on our journey and making Daddy's last day truly special.

Live life well, everyone. Don’t put off for tomorrow what you can do today. Love one another deeply and be kind to yourselves and to others. Take a leaf out of Dad’s book and live a peaceful and respectful life. Keep his memory alive through the kindness you show, the love you give, and the way you treat others. "As long as we carry his values in our hearts and live by them, a part of him will always live on in all of us"

With Heartfelt Love
